Heather Eyles is an award winning author of children’s books. She wrote and produced innovative theatre pieces through her company ‘Singing Brink’, and went on to use drama to help people with self-expression and empowerment. A fascination with mental health and personal development has led her, through writing novels, plays, short stories and poetry, to producing her memoirs dealing with her own history as a survivor of child abuse, with the aim of helping others to heal.

Work With Me
I am warm and witty and experienced in presentation. I can give a voice to those who suffer in silence. I was Author of the Month in the Hovarian in November 2021, talking about how we can heal from difficult experiences.
About Me

I have had a full and wonderful career in writing, theatre and teaching, but I feel I have truly found my voice in championing the child. In my memoirs I am seeking to bring the inner experience of childhood abuse to life and to cast a clear eye on the life-long legacy that the survivor has to live with. I have approached my younger self with affection and humour, as well as with insight gained from years of hard work in therapy and study. I have become friends with myself through writing these memoirs.
I live on the South Coast of England after many years spent in London. I love being beside the sea. It has added another dimension to my life. I have many joys, in my husband, in my family and friends, and my grandchildren have changed my life for the better in more ways than I could have known.
